Had a mule at the bar. Drink was delicious. Bartender was great!

Warm, and welcoming with a well-thought-out menu, this classy yet casual restaurant is a terrific stop for lunch or dinner. They pretty much make everything either in-house or source from local farms, bakeries, etc. Since Cafe of Love is connected to Ladle of Love, they serve a smaller selection of the same amazing soup as well. If you can get some, they serve some of their house-made bread, which so happens to be delicious and vegan. Their owner Leslie is true foodie (despite the cliched use of that word), and having spent years as a avid home-cook and in a food test kitchen, she really knows her stuff about menu composition and taste, especially as it rotates seasonally, with only 2 items on the menu remaining the same in all 10 years of its existence. Their fall menu isn't just pumpkins and apples - there are mushrooms, pomegranate, cranberries, butternut squash, figs, and a variety of root vegetables. Cafe of Love is vegetarian friendly, with a healthier eating experience than you might expect with the luxurious nature of the food. Every single item I ate was balanced in flavor, which I have not experienced anywhere else. Particular stand-out items include their house made sweet and hot potato chips, truffled chickpeas, their burger which doesn't even need any condiments to make it taste good (lots on it, no ketchup or mustard or mayo, amazing), the flatbread, and the basil grape smash, one of the better drinks I've ever had anywhere. The staff is helpful and friendly across the board, and the atmosphere is that of relaxed dining. Great choice for a night out. Prices are also reasonable for the quality and the leftovers taste good cold, which I always consider an accomplishment of the food.

What an amazing experience we had here, the food, the ambience, the host and the amazing owner. A true labor of love and it shows, everyone is pleasant and humble. The whole evening was amazing❤

This is the worst place ever!! It’s double the price of any diner.. the waiter was awe full.. the food was cold.. I sent the bacon back for being cold and dry.. they put the same bacon back on the grill and brought it back out dry and burnt.. the reviews have to be fake.. I never write reviews but this was absurd

Wonderful atomsphere coupled with great and excellent service , makes this a top place for dining in Westchester .
