Thank you for your meticulous efforts during my recent bike fitting. I've been a serious cyclist for some 40+ years having done racing, triathlons, self-contained touring around the world for 3 years thru 40 countries. Before the fitting I had been thinking my old bones were perhaps too worn for longer rides due to over use injuries. After the fitting the knee pain I had been plagued with disappeared. Amazing! Never felt more connected to my bike! Took your advice and went easy getting use to the new set up. Surprisingly, even going easy, I still set PR's without even trying! Definitely felt 10-15% more efficient just like you said I would! Went easy on Bike4Chai charity ride a week after fitting, 112 mile day 1, 75 miles day 2. All went well. Eric has forgotten more than most people know about cycling and fitting a rider to a bike. A true professional not interested in selling you what you don't need. Very impressed with their process.
Best Bike fit ever! Eric is amazing. My wife and I have had other shops do a "bike fit" and then had to go to Eric to redo the job after the other place could not get her bike comfortable. It is amazing what a bike fitting, done by a master bike fitter can do. It is the difference between numb hands, sore knee(s), a sore butt and then pure comfort with no pain. I have ridden bikes for over 30 years and thought I was fine. My wife bought me a fitting as a present and I said ok. Eric spent almost 2 hours and adjusted my seat, shifters and pedals (and shoe cleats) and when I went for a ride the next day I was blown away by the lack of pain and increased power I had. He made several small changes that made a HUGE difference. If you think your bike fits you, it doesn't really fit until Eric dials you in. It is so worth the money I can't even begin to say. We spend 1000s on bikes and equipment but forget the most important part. For the price of a good helmet or shoe you can get the most important thing....a custom fit! A half inch can mean all the difference between a sore knee or numb body parts and pain free riding that will keep you going longer and faster without injury from not being aligned correctly. After I bought a second bike for my wife we tried another shop closer to our house with lots of facy equipment for fitting. They did a really bad job and then we brought it to Eric and Bicycle World for a redo. I teally learned my lesson. Just because someone has a fancy shop or says they do bike fittings doesn't mean they can do a good job. Eric fixed her bike and my wife is pain free on her other bike now. Eric is a "level 3" master bike fitter and in my opinion kind of a magician and savant in the way he can spot subtle details that make such a huge difference. I can not recommend them enough!!! Excellent repair services and product selection too btw.

Having purchased my first bike (Cannondale M500) from Eric and Ilene in 1992, I decided it was time for an upgrade and recently purchased a 2018 Trek X-Caliper from their store in Mt Kisco. Eric and Ilene have been in the bike business for close to 30 years, and totally understand how to make the customer experience outstanding. Ilene is the expert in all the back office financial and marketing functions, and does a superb job. In addition, Eric is a master repair and fitting technician, so you will be sure to get your bike in excellent mechanical shape when you leave the shop. In addition, they offer 2 follow-up visits for adjustments and a complete tune-up after the first year. My highest recommendation for sales and service goes to Bicycle World in Mt Kisco, NY.
